Homestay
Live with a family and enjoy the convenience and comfort of a home. In a homestay, you will have your own room and get the added benefit of living with a family who can share their knowledge of Madison with you. If you choose the food option, your family will provide the food and may cook for you, or you may cook for yourself. For those who prefer more independence, some individuals rent rooms in their homes. These living situations offer the students more autonomy and flexibility. Most homestays are 30-50 minutes from the school by bus.

Dormitory Suites
Midwest has a dormitory at 202 N. Hamilton that provides apartment-style living. The dormitory suites have 2 double rooms, each with its own bathroom. Every suite has a fully furnished living area, including a phone, television, VCR and DVD; and a kitchen equipped with dishes, pots and pans. Roommates are usually international students studying English at WESLI. The dormitory is only a 2-minute walk to Midwest and 5 minutes to a library and coffeeshops for additional study places.

The costs below include utilities, phone service with unlimited local calls, high speed internet access and cable TV. Prices are for 5 weeks and are pro-rated for additional periods of time. There is also a $200 security deposit. You should contact the housing coordinator if you wish to move in before the first day of the course. In addition, please inform the housing coordinator one week before you plan to move out. Availability of single room varies.
