 To train both native and non-native speakers to teach English to
adults overseas.
Midwest Teacher Training Program will accomplish this mission by:
- teaching trainees through a practical, hands on-approach
- introducing trainees to a variety of teaching methods and techniques
- giving them the tools essential to compete in the EFL job market
- providing mentoring and guidance in a supportive atmosphere
- supporting a wide range of learning and teaching styles
- having trainees teach their own group of ESL learners
